About Pamela Perkin Dwyer
A seasoned fundraising leader dedicated to building lasting donor relationships and driving philanthropic impact
Pamela Perkins Dwyer
Pamela has more than 25 years of fundraising and stewardship experience. She believes that her stewarding of donors is what has led to her success with principal and major gifts.
She is currently Director of Development for the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication at California State University, Northridge. She most recently served as the Director of Major Gifts at the Los Angeles Master Chorale, a prestigious resident company of The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. Previously, she held the position of Assistant Vice President of Advancement at The Music Center. Prior to this, she was the interim Deputy Director of the New West Symphony in Thousand Oaks, where she managed operations, fundraising, marketing, database administration, and the administrative staff. Additionally, she served as the Director of Development at the Santa Barbara Symphony, where she successfully spearheaded multiple fundraising campaigns and managed major gifts, planned giving, corporate giving, and annual fund initiatives.
Pamela specializes in fundraising for arts and human services organizations and is an influential figure in the sector. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals US Foundation and the advisory board of Equal Justice Society. She is current president of the Channel Island Chapter of the Links Incorporated, and is currently serving on the board of the Greater San Fernando Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is a member of the American Association of University Women (Camarillo).
Pamela holds a Bachelor’s degree from Howard University, a Master’s degree from Boston University, and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
